Subreddit Rules
- No spoilers within 24 hours: You cannot spoil the results of the race or qualifying session within 24 hours of the session ending. "Rigon wins at Spa" must be changed to "[SPOILER] wins at Spa".
- "O'Connell on pole at Sonoma" becomes "[SPOILER] on pole at Sonoma."
- "First win for a new GT3 car this weekend!" -> "[series name] <event> Results"
- If a post is tagged/flaired for spoilers, you can freely comment in the comment section.
- During the week of Le Mans this rule not enforced for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
- No isolated question posts: We have the "Mondays on the Mulsanne" thread series, which emulates /r/formula1's "Wednesdays at Bernie's" and serves as a "no-stupid-questions" thread. Any and all questions related to streaming, rules, events, and such should go here and not in isolated posts. You can, however, make a post asking for an event to be covered, what time something is on, or where something can be watched.
- No racism/sexism/homophobia: This is a Reddit rule, but having it here lets you guys report it directly.
- No off-topic content without proper flair: Title your post with [OT] at the beginning if it's off topic, or use the "Other Race" flair. If neither of these is used, your post will be removed.
- No troll posts: /r/weccirclejerk is where all memes/joke posts go. Around Le Mans this rule is enforced less strictly.
- Only the absolute funniest memes will be allowed to stay here in violation of this rule. Funny used subjectively by the mods.
- No pornographic content: Unless your idea of porn is a V10 blasting down the Mulsanne at full song, keep it not here.
- No editorialised post titles: If you post an article, use the title of that article as the post title. Changing the title of the post can influence bias onto the post. You can, however, translate to English.
- No Politics unless directly tied to racing: Politics will not be accepted unless it has direct ties or effects on racing. For example, a post about the Russo-Ukrainian War won't be allowed but a post about something in the racing world being affected by the war will.
- No low effort posts:
- No Gatekeeping:
- No constant negativity, complaining, or saber rattling: Being a constant source of negativity and complaining will not be appreciated. People can still have differing opinions but being a constant saber rattler/negative nancy is not providing a good experience with the other users of the community. If we find that users are bringing down the overall enjoyment of the community, they will be forced to leave so the sub remains a good experience for the rest of the userbase
