Subreddit Rules
  1. RELEVANCE RULE: The core content of all submissions must be directly relevant to starcraft. Core content is defined as "The central focus/content of the post".
  2. Core content is generally considered relevant if it contains starcraft related imagery, is news/opinion etc. directly referencing or directly affecting starcraft - either game, lore or esports - or directly referencing Blizzard. This rule also applies to memes and fluff posts.
  3. A post title alone is not enough to make a submission relevant.
  4. CONTEXT RULE: Submissions with vague or no context will be removed. Examples include, but are not limited to, a text/self submission with the title "This is why we need LAN" and the body ":(" -- or no body at all -- and a screen capture of a live stream chat log that fails to convey an accurate or understandable meaning on its own.
  5. ACCUSATION RULE:: An accusation against another person's or organization's integrity, business practice(s), et cetera is only allowed if the accuser has sufficient evidence.
  6. PROMOTIONAL LINK SUBMISSION RULE: Self-Promotional link submissions should not exceed two posts per day. Exceeding "2 per 1" will result in the removal of all of the link submissions over the last day. Accounts should also maintain healthy activity on the sub including comments and posts to non-self promotional content. Activity in self post threads doesn't count. Multiple infractions will result in warning, ban and eventual blacklist of channel/site being linked to. Reddit's content policy also applies.
  7. TROLLING RULE: Moderators will remove the submissions and comments of and ban trolling accounts. The severity of the ban will be determined by previous behavior and level of trolling. Excessive trolling accounts will be banned on sight. An "excessive trolling account" is an account that only trolls or acts contrarian and gets continuously downvoted as a result.
  8. Trolling is defined as being overly aggressive/hostile, arguing in bad faith and attempting to flame/upset other users rather than make a point.
  9. FLOODING RULE: Same- and similar-topic submissions that exceed 4 per top/new 25, 8 per top 50, et cetera will either be consolidated into a single, moderator-created text/self submission or simply removed. We understand the karma wars are serious business but please pay attention to the rising and top "what's hot" submissions before submitting or upvoting. Moderators will make a reasonable effort to select the best quality post when several are submitted in a short period of time.
