- Be Civil: **Be civil.
- personal attacks, and please avoid "roasting" a user's appearance. We don't need any more comments about armhair or chubby fingers.
- Replicas: **Replica/fake/counterfeit watch posts and discussion are explicitly forbidden,** aside from text posts about how to identify and avoid fakes. This is the oldest rule of this community, kept in place since the beginning. Questions about particular watches being real/fake should go in the stickied **Monthly Watch Verification thread** and *not* a new thread.
- Low-quality posts: This is a place to discuss and enjoy Rolex and Tudor watches. Try to avoid overdone inside jokes that just confuse and alienate new posters. Memes are allowed but low-effort ones will be removed at the mods' discretion. And no posts from toilets or moving cars, you savages!
- Buying/Selling: Buying and selling watches here is not permitted, as we don't want to worry about vetting scammers 24/7. There are subreddits and websites that are dedicated to buying/selling watches, including /r/WatchExchange.
- Promotional Content: Promotional posts from vendors are fine as long as you're upfront about who you are, participate in some discussion, and don't spam the sub with multiple threads. "Hi I'm Steve from RandomStrapCo, here are some pics of our new strap" is 100% fine, but thinly-veiled promotional posts from throwaways are not appreciated. **Note that this rule applies to accessory vendors (straps, cases, boxes, etc), not watch vendors.** Buying/selling the watches themselves is not permitted at this time.
