  2. __Advertisers will be permanently banned with no warning.__
  3. Many of these clubs have predatory rake or refuse to pay out winners/exit scam.
  4. This rule also includes generic casino referral links.
  5. Be polite to others.: Harassment and/or abuse towards other users is not allowed in this subreddit under any circumstance. Please be respectful to other users and have a good time on /r/poker.

  12. Do Not Post Unsubstantiated Conspiracy Theories Suggesting Online Poker Is Rigged: Detailed posts with serious, credible allegations of cheating / collusion/ rigging are welcome. 'I lost 3 flips in a row' is not serious evidence of anything.
  13. Do not shame players who are playing low stakes and/or are not winning much.: We welcome all poker players on r/poker. Looking down on players who play low stakes or don't win much is classless. If you aren't impressed by someone winning a $5 tournament or being a winner at $10zoom, please avoid being rude to them.
  14. Keep bad beats, brags, and variance posts in BBV: Please avoid making threads for quick stories, chip stacks/tournament win and BBV (bad beats, brags, or variance). Use the stickied BBV thread unless they are truly remarkable and can foster some sort of discussion. Otherwise these threads may be deleted at the moderators' discretion.
  15. Excessive Spam: Posting multiple threads a day in excessive use. This includes any: non-relevant posts to poker, shilling your news site, shilling your YouTube channel, excessive shit-posting, and continuing to post content after you've been specifically warned not to by the mod team.
  16. Do not post low effort AI 'slop' content: This includes AI generated text, AI generated videos, AI generated art / images / comics, AI generated audio etc.
  17. People From Portsmouth are banned from r/poker: The reason should be self-explanatory
  18. Poker Job Postings require salary info: Companies seeking to hire employees for poker related jobs MUST post the compensation offered.
  19. Self promotion: researchers & companies: Researchers, universities and charities conducting not-for-profit research or promoting events must clear their projects with r/poker moderators before making their post.
  20. Proof of affiliation with a legitimate research institution or charity is required!
  21. If approved, researchers and charitable organizations can make one post promoting their survey or cause.
  22. Please do not make multiple posts, this clogs up the sub.
  23. For-profit companies should message the mods or risk a permanent ban.
