- This rule *does not* apply to someone saying they hate men or white people. Action will not be taken in those cases.
- Be kind.: Be respectful to everybody! Don't do anything Mitski wouldn't do. Constructive criticism and feedback are okay, insults and fightmongering are not.
- This rule applies to public figures as well. I imagine the Mac DeMarco controversy is a large reason Mitski decided to take a break from public life, and as such we need to respect her wishes that we act with kindness and reason
- rabid fans defending her honor, because she doesn't want that. Tongue-in-cheek humor or sarcasm is okay, though.
- Ticket exchange requests must be posted in the pinned masterpost.: Ticket offer or request posts made separately will be removed.
- Be careful of scammers.: 'No scamming' is kind of a pointless rule, because scammers will scam regardless, and we can only catch them after the fact if they target you through DM. Be vigilant when exchanging tickets with people - check their accounts to make sure they post like a real person (empty or long dead accounts should be avoided).
- Be normal about Mitski.: Mitski is a real person, and while she has stated she is hugely appreciative of her fanbase, this is not an excuse to get parasocial!
- Information or speculation about Mitski's personal life will be removed, as will anything that sexualizes her or generally crosses a boundary. Also, as Mitski says, we're retiring the sad girl shtick - Mitski is an artist, not a 'feral woman', and posts characterizing her as the latter will be removed.
- No vent posts.: Mitski's music can definitely be emotional, but please don't make vent posts here: they will be removed. Venting is not what the sub is for, and it may result in you getting inadequate support.
- Discussing heavier topics in relation to how they relate to your experience with Mitski's music is alright. It's okay to post how Last Words of a Shooting Star captures how your depression feels to you, but posts like 'it's 3 a.m. and I'm crying to Last Words fml' are likely to get removed.
