- Be Respectful - no attacks, bigotry, condescension: As a local community, it is extremely important to maintain respect for one another, and keep all arguments civil and constructive. We live together, and should strive towards keeping as much decency and respect between one another.
- This sort of language includes (but is not limited to) racist, misogynistic, sexist, aggressive, insulting, or overtly offensive comments. These comments, whether intended to be a joke or not, are prohibited.
- No discrediting without unbiased source or proof: Discrediting a user/company/politician/movement/event/etc. without an unbiased source or documentation (corroboration from many people) is also strictly prohibited.
- No non-constructive circlejerk/troll/shit posting: In addition to being respectful, it is important we keep childishness and nonconstructive threads to a minimum. We reserve the right to remove any post that shows this behavior.
- This includes but not limited to:
- Altering titles of news stories * Copypasta or Memes with no substance to the conversation * Purposely saying edgy things to ellicit a response * Personal attacks (see other rules) * Childishness (whataboutisms/ so are you but what am I's, etc.) * Blatant hyperbole

- EXCEPTION:** Our monthly "who's hiring" threads will continue, as well as our lump "roommate/for sale thread". These posts are valued and will continue, and will be the only time where this rule is ignored. Please keep the posts within those threads.
- News post title must match article title: In order to prevent sensationalized, editorialized, clickbait, and misleading news posts, posts that link to a news article must have the post title match the article title.
