Subreddit Rules
  1. Read This Before Posting: **Everyone:** - 10pt LOCAL Karma Required. Comment in r/iOSApps to earn 10 karma first. [Check](https://old.reddit.com/u/me) - Before posting, search r/iOSApps; check App Comparisons - Choose flair
  2. App Devs:** - No main feed promotion unless you qualify (25 community karma) - Use ABC Post format (Answer, Better, Cost) - Flair hierarchy: Vibe Coded > Lifetime > Subscription > Freemium > Free - Free flair: not for limited/freemium tiers - Open Source? Prefix title [OS]
  3. Official Distribution Channels Only: Download links must use the publisher's official source, and link to the App Store. Third-party file hosts, blogs, redirect URLs, and shortened URLs are not permitted as they can be used to distribute malicious software.
  4. Limited Self-Promotion: Infrequent self-promotion is permitted; however, it is not permitted more than once per developer in 30 days. This is counted from the last app post, even if it was removed.
  5. For well-established, recognized devs with an app-flair, once per app per 30 days.
  6. ALWAYS disclose your relationship to your software in comments promoting your app. Promoting your own app in comments is disallowed until you earn 15 karma in r/MacApps and in poor taste when hijacking another developer’s promotion.
  7. Reddit Rules: We follow the Reddit Rules without exception. Familiarise yourself before posting or commenting.
  8. No Affiliate / Referral / Invite Links: Affiliate, referral, and invite links are not permitted since they attract spam and low-quality content.
  9. No AI: Generative AI apps and AI-wrapped apps are not allowed and will be removed. If your app uses AI as a core feature rather than a tool, it likely doesn't belong here. Check out r/GenAiApps instead. Apps that were vibe coded must be flaired accordingly.
  10. No Promo Code Requests: Do not ask for promo codes or discounts in the comments, not even when a publisher suggests it in their post. It's spam and will be treated as such. DM the publisher if you must, but don't announce it publicly.
  11. No Piracy / No Hiring Posts: Digital piracy is not permitted in any form. This is also not the place to find or hire developers for your app idea.
  12. Be kind and respectful: - Be polite, stay on topic and follow basic [reddiquette](https://reddit.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205926439-Reddiquette). - If a post breaks sub rules, don't leave a rude reply; instead, report it to the mods.
  13. - Rude and hateful comments about the app or developers will not be tolerated. Critiquing, feedback, and discussing is fine but be polite.
