Subreddit Rules
  1. Be kind!: Do not post content that victimizes, harasses, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identification, drug of choice, level of addiction, mental health status, or other reasons. In short, don't be a jerk.
  2. No self promotional or marketing posts
  3. promotional or copy/paste posts from personal websites, blogs, or businesses are allowed. Do not link products from a personal business for users to buy. Do not advertise your paid or professional services except on the promotion post.
  4. No misinformation, include sources: Please include sources and additional information when giving advice when possible. This allows people to be fully informed about what they may choose to do. If someone is found to be willfully giving bad advice this will warrant a ban, this includes improper covid information.
  5. No Low Effort Posts: If a post is obviously low-effort, it will be removed. Examples would be a post that doesn't really ask any question, provide any real information, or is off-topic. This also includes posts that are completely A.I. generated. We are not completely against A.I., but this is a community of people. There needs to be some kind of human-touch from the OP.
  6. No Business Solicitation or Review Requests: Businesses are not allowed to solicit users to post reviews, promotions, or ads of their products or services. This includes, but is not limited to, direct messages, comments, and posts asking users to share links, write reviews, or promote products. Any post or comment found to be in violation of this rule will be removed, and the offending user may be subject to a ban. Any business that would like to post their products or services on this subreddit must contact the mods for review.
  7. Do not abuse the report button: Please don't abuse the report button. Please use it only when someone has violated a rule. Disagreeing with you isn't being unkind and targeted harassment means following you between communities or harassment due to being a member of a protected class.
  8. Please do not use the report button because you don't like someone or their opinion unless the opinion is hate.
  9. Mods are real people with real lives. Frivolous reports hurt us not whoever you're angry at.
  10. Thank you for your cooperation.
