- Use flairs when posting!: The post flairs are there for people to sort through posts! Please use them! Here is what they all mean: work in progress (wip) - unfinished project completed beauties - done and ready to wear/give away stash - bought some floss? show us. new storage? I need to see it! help! - have questions about how to make your bracelets that the internet hasn't helped with? ask us! discussion - lets chat about it patterns - post your free patterns in action - group photo? bff wearing it? use this.
- No bullying: If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Constructive criticism is okay. Saying " your bracelet looks ugly" is not. Making comments on color choices being "too *insert slur here*" is an automatic ban. Targeted harassment based on musical or entertainment interests are not allowed.
- No discussion of politics: While posting pictures of politically inspired bracelets are okay, please do not discuss the politics around it. We are r/friendshipbracelets not r/letsfightoverpoliticsbracelets. Use common sense.
- No sales/advertising: Please do not link your stores on our subreddit. There is an etsy user flair you can edit to include your store name. "I made these to sell at the fair." posts are fine but no linking stores here.
- No stolen content: The friendship bracelet community is weird when it comes to where to find content, but with recent popularity there are places like people's Patreon. Don't share content from there.
- PenPal Warning!!!: Please practice internet safety and stranger danger safety when it comes to sending bracelets to each other. If you are under the age of 18 please do not exchange bracelets online or through this subreddit. It is fun until somebody gets hurt.
