Subreddit Rules
- Don't Be a Jerk: Just because you have a high level of knowledge or strength, does not mean you should talk down to people on a quest to improve themselves. Do not be rude, condescending, etc.
- Don't Make Comments on the Poster's Body Composition: Outside of on-topic body comp comments (like "due to your femur length, you'll need to have a wider squat stance"), both positive and negative comments about a poster's body composition will result in a permanent ban.
- Don't Promote Your Own Social Media or App/Business: There are a lot of great videos and content out there on the web that teach every lift imaginable, from acclaimed coaches and globally accomplished lifters. Please post links to those people, and not your IG, personal website, form checking app, etc. We want the sub to be about advice for those in need, not growing someone's following or growing their business.
- Don't Spam Posts: Don't post the same thing multiple times. Post it, get feedback, apply the feedback, and then feel free to make a new post again. It is still ok to post different lifts from the same session.
- Root comments must be a form check or relevant question: This is formcheck. All root comments must be relevant to that. Nobody cares what you think of the post or the poster. Let the upvotes and downvotes do the talking.
- Form related root comments must address an improvement in form: Please ensure that root comments for form checks actually address form. Statements such as (but not limited to) "lower the weight", "more control", and "work on mobility/stability" do not provide anything that OP can actionably work towards and will be removed
- Do Not Prescribe Weight for Users: Do not prescribe a weight for users to work at. You can prescribe a goal that users can work towards, users can find the appropriate weight to achieve said goal
