- Book Request Posts - Must be descriptive and include unique details: Book Requests title and body must be detailed and not just a list of popular tropes.
- Please detail what you're looking for in a book (character types, tropes, scenes, themes, etc.). Examples of books you previously read could also help other users confidently give recommendations.

- No Self-Promotions of Any Kind: r/fantasyromance is a subreddit for discussion of fantasy romance, not a marketplace.
- Ads & other promotions can only be shared under the Self-Promo monthly thread. This includes promoting other subreddits and their discord channels, friends/family promoting on the author's behalf, artist's socials, etc. Self-promotion is not allowed in response to book requests or any other type of posts.
- No Piracy: Piracy is against Reddit's content policy. Please do not request, post, or share pirated content, mention piracy sources, or promote piracy or copyright infringement.
- Fresh accounts/new subscribers that post pirated content will be banned immediately. Other cases will be handled at mods' discretion.
- No Writing or Publishing Advice: As r/fantasyromance is first and foremost a reader community, we don't allow writing advice, feedback on your books or any assistance with publishing-related stuff. Specific writing advice and discussion communities include r/writing, r/romancewriters and r/fantasywriters.
- Provide Credit and No AI: Please provide the name of the artist or content creator when sharing fanart and other fan-made content. Links to socials, including Patreon and Instagram, aren't allowed.
- AI-generated content of any kind or the promotion of AI are not allowed.
- Posts Must Have a Clear Title, Relevant Topic & Details, & Be High Effort: Post titles must be clear/informative, including any relevant book titles (not just body), and a clear question or topic for discussion related to fantasy romance books.
- Posts with images/links must include details about the content in the title and body. This includes What Was the Book Called, Gush and Wrap-up posts.
- Repetitive, low effort or irrelevant submissions may be removed.
