- Breeders**: do not post pictures of your bulldogs or puppies and do not solicit users to message you. You will receive an immediate permanent ban
- exceptions.
- Do not advertise your Bulldog for breeding and do not solicit other users to breed their Bulldogs.
- Artists**: your art is welcome but do not promote your website, socials or paid commissions.
- breed hate or owner shaming: Discussion and differing opinions are welcome; being rude, aggressive or confrontational is not.
- Personal attacks on other users and breed hate will not be tolerated.**
- Do not shame others for “shopping not adopting” or for their choice in feed for their Bulldog.
- Do not assume a member is using Reddit in lieu of taking their Bulldog to the vet; owners often use Reddit to obtain additional information or advice.
- Kindness costs nothing. Silence is also free.
- No Fundraising or Rehoming: To protect our members, we do not allow donation, rescue or rehoming requests as these are difficult to verify.
- Unfortunately, Reddit is filled with scammers taking advantage of the kindness of pet-themed communities.
- Any posts or comments doing so will be removed and the user will be banned.
- If you are an ***established and active member*** of this community, please reach out to the Mods **in advance** if you are in need. We will review your request and may issue an exception to this rule.
- No Unrelated Content or Mixed Breeds: The focus of this sub is purebred English Bulldogs.
- All other content, including mixes, will be removed.**
- If you have a genuine question about the English Bulldog aspect of your mixed breed, please message the Mods ***in advance*** for approval.
- The following Bulldog / Bully breeds are not English Bulldogs:
- • American Bulldog • American Bully • American Pitbull Terrier • American Staffordshire Terrier • Boxer • Bull Terrier • French Bulldog • Staffordshire Bull Terrier
- No Merle or Fluffy: We do not allow posts of merle or fluffy bulldogs.
- Neither are recognized by the BCA, AKC or The Kennel Club, as they do not occur naturally in Bulldogs and are detrimental to the genetic health of the breed due to the unethical breeding practices used to obtain these mutations.
- We do allow **rescued** bulldogs, as this does not support or promote the use of backyard breeders. If rescued, use the **Rescue**/**Merle Rescue** post flairs, or include "**rescue**" in the post title or user flair.
- No Low-Effort, Spam, or AI content: We do not permit AI generated images or art, memes (*exception is Meme Mondays*), “name my dog”, “what breed is my dog”, link only posts, or posts that lack context or substance.
- Posts should include:** • Original photo(s) or video • Detailed information if asking for advice • Appropriate use of paragraph breaks • Context if making a statement or linking an outside source • English only
- If you are unsure if your content qualifies, please message the Mods for clarification.

- Homemade / raw recipes should be approved by a veterinarian or certified pet nutritionist for proper and balanced nutrition. Posting recipes without **mod approval** will result in a removal and temporary ban.
- No Animal Cruelty
- content depicting animal cruelty in any method or form:
- • Deceased animals *(for beautiful displays of your deceased pet see r/morbidlybeautiful)* • Animals being subjected to malicious harm or serious neglect • Extreme malnutrition or obesity • Animal experimentation • Encouraging animal aggression or dog fighting
- Such posts will be removed, the user will receive an automatic permanent ban, and will be reported to Reddit for a violation to their content policy.

- We encourage users to combine photos into one post rather than a single photo on multiple submissions.
