- Submissions must demonstrate effort.: Please make sure your image is in focus, upright, and well lit.
- Doodles and artwork which doesn't seem like it involved significant effort may be removed. This includes the effort of learning. A better place for this type of post is /r/doodles or /r/sketches.
- Low-effort submissions such as AI-generated pieces will be removed and your account will be banned.
- Discussions and requests for help which can be answered by reading our wikis or searching may be removed.
- Drawing posts only.: Posts should either be drawing or be primarily about drawing. Commentary should focus on drawing. Videos which aren't primarily drawing, or could have been an image, will be removed. Please make sure drawing occupies most of the frame of images you post.

- This is not a support subreddit.: Posts which are looking for mental health support, including any type of artistic blocks, are not appropriate for this subreddit.
