  1. Posts must be related to a career in Computer Science: All posts and questions must be related to computer science, or software engineering in general.
  2. Posts must be relevant within Europe: All posts must be relevant within Europe.
  3. Whether a country is in considered to be in Europe is determined by the poster, because we can't list all exceptions. Countries such as U.K., Norway, Switzerland, and Cyprus, are thus necessarily included.
  4. If no country is specified, the post is assumed to be generic in Europe.
  5. Immigration and VISA posts are not allowed: Immigration/VISA questions are not allowed. Use our FAQ for general help and communities specific to the country you aim to immigrate into.
  6. Stay professional.: Please be thoughtful and professional when commenting. More often than not this comes down to having some common sense; don't say anything you wouldn't say to your colleagues.
  7. No promotions or advertising allowed.: Promotional posts where you link to, or share, your own or someone else's content are not allowed. We are not a content aggregator.
  8. If you want to link your blog post, you can do so on the condition that you inline the entire post to reddit.
  9. Blatant advertisement is immediately treated with a permaban.
  10. No recruitment or job advertisement: Posts made solely to recruit, or advertise a job, is not permitted.
  11. Make your post specific and clear.: Questions without sufficient detail is hard to answer. A question with insufficient detail is subject to removal at moderator discretion.
  12. Be mindful that regulations and etiquette vary wildly in Europe, include your country if you have any doubt whether it is needed.
  13. Comments should be on-topic.: Comments must be on-topic to it's parent-post.
  14. Please add something relevant to the subreddit and or question.
  15. No salary sharing threads: Do not post salary sharing threads as these clutter the subreddit and prevents having a single source. Please use the official thread which is posted quarterly.
  16. Posts should show reasonable effort: Questions that are easily answered by a web search, or of very low-effort is subject to removal.
