  5. NO Untagged Spoilers: * DO NOT ever post spoilers in the title. Posts with spoilers in the post's image or body text should always be tagged. * Please respect OP's wish if they request threads to be spoiler-free. * Untagged spoilers in comment threads may be okay if reasonable based on the post's title (i.e., "What's the best finale?"). * Speculation/rumors/leaks may all be considered spoilers. * Intentional or egregious spoilers may result in a ban, especially for newly aired episodes or popular shows.
  6. NO Live Action Shows, Graphic Novels, or Comic Strips: * This sub is for animated cartoons including hand drawn, digital, stop motion, puppet, and animatronic shows. * Please visit r/comics to post about cartoon strips, comic books, graphic novels, and web comics. * Non-animated content may be allowed in comment threads, as long as they're directly related to the posted cartoon. * Fan art comics are allowed. * Anime is always welcome! * Live action remakes may be allowed if they are sufficiently animated via CG or practical effects.

  11. Absolutely NO Spam: Spammy posting is not allowed and is at moderator discretion.
  12. Fan art is encouraged, but please don't make any mention of items for sale, services offered, or commercial links of any kind.
  13. YouTube self promotion is allowed and will result in a ban * We don't want any commercial posts or comments of any kind on this sub
  14. NSFW Restrictions: * NSFW content is acceptable only if it is from the show itself. * NSFW comments regarding underage characters are never allowed. *
  15. 34 and X rated cartoons are not allowed on this sub. * Please tag all NSFW posts. If you feel as if you have any doubt, flair it as NSFW. You may also use spoiler tags to hide NSFW comments. * Please don't post content focusing on cartoon crushes or character attractiveness because they often devolve into NSFW threads.
  16. NO Overly Hostile Discussion: Please engage with others in a kind and civil manner. Good faith conversation, debate, and discussion are the building blocks of our community here.
  17. It is possible to be nice and disagree at the same time. Overly hostile content toward people or fandoms may be subject to removals and/or bans.
  18. Jokes and sarcasm are great ways to express your dissent without resorting to hostilities.
  19. NO Personal Attacks: Attacks on your fellow fans should not be tolerated. Name calling and insults have no place here.
  20. Please respect other's rights to decide their own opinions, even if you don't respect their opinion. Focus on the merits of their words, or lack there of, rather than the person.
  21. Everyone here has the right to disengage or to "agree to disagree". Often this means "I refuse to admit defeat" but it is their right. Pressuring people to continue after they try to disengage is a form of harassment.
  22. NO Attacks On An Entire Fanbase: Attacks disparaging an entire fandom/fanbase should not be tolerated. Broad generalizations are unfair to the diverse fanbase most shows have.
  23. No fandom is immune to toxicity and discussing it can be very beneficial. Thus, content regarding the negative aspects of a fandom are allowed but must be focused in scope.
  24. Inserting oneself into a discussion with fandom attacks unrelated to the topic of the post or comment thread may be considered a type of trolling.
  25. Absolutely NO Harassment: Attacks directed at fellow users should not be tolerated.
  26. This includes (but is not limited to) name calling, taunting, mocking, repetitive/annoying behavior, ignoring requests to disengage, repeated teasing, targeted hostility, and generally malicious comments.
  27. Egregious or repeated violations of this rule may result in bans.
  28. Absolutely NO Trolling: Intentionally provoking conflict via trolling, baiting, taunting, or mocking people/fandoms should not be tolerated.
  29. Jokes and sarcasm are certainly allowed but should be written intelligently enough as to not be confused for trolling.
  30. Anyone violating this rule should be banned and reported as spam so they may be added to Reddit's spam filters and thus receive a site wide ban.
  31. Absolutely NO Discrimination : Prejudicial behavior, especially (but not limited to) the subjects of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, or disability should not be tolerated by anyone.
  32. Anyone violating this rule should be banned and reported as spam so they may be added to Reddit's spam filters and thus receive a site wide ban.
