- Be friendly!: As always, treat others as you would like to be treated. Unless, of course, you want to be treated like complete garbage, in which case, treat others in the exact opposite way you would like to be treated. We're all supportive here

- No Byler debate: Art is open to interpretation. Although a writer's interpretation is essential, once the story becomes public, the artist gives it away. The assumption on this subreddit is that Byler exists. It not being canon does not change that. The discussions should focus on Byler's interpretations, not on arguments about whether Byler is canon. Byler's interpretation is independent of its canon status.
- Don't go off-topic: This subreddit was created primarily to discuss the ship of Byler from the Netflix show Stranger Things. You are permitted to discuss things not strictly related to Byler, but you should probably visit r/strangerthings or r/strangerthingsroom for general discussion about the show.
- No posts bashing other subs: We don’t allow posts or comments that can cause tension between us and other Stranger Things subs. We understand that it is frustrating that some users in other subs can be hostile towards Byler and Byler shippers, but this sub is primarily supposed to be a positive and safe place for fans of Byler to discuss the ship and share fancontent.
- As a law of reciprocity and to enforce this safe place, any animosity towards Byler or Byler shippers won't be tolerated. It'll be an immediate ban.
- No intentional brigading in other subreddits: Brigading includes making posts with the intention of causing arguments or otherwise negative discourse. Generally Byler discussion is frowned upon in r/strangerthings and especially in r/mileven - posting Byler in those subreddits will get your post removed and reported. Brigading, especially posting about it (e.g. "I'm going to make a post in the main sub") is against the rules.
- No shameless self-promotion: You are more than welcome to link people to fanfictions/fan art that you or others have created, and you're also allowed to make posts about your fanfiction or fan art. However, please don't do this in excess. Feel free to share your content, but don't spam posts or comments full of self-promotion.
- No sexual content: Sexual content isn't allowed. From now on, this sub will have a zero tolerance for any kind of sexual content, whether they're of age or not. This includes things that alludes to sexual content.
- No AI-generated content: As written
- Be respectful towards the cast and crew: This means that when you talk about the cast and crew it’s okay to give a critical opinion, but bashing them isn’t. Please do not speculate about the casts personal lives – this means NO FOAH! No political discussions regarding the cast!
- Properly credit artists and writers: When you post fanart/fanfics you must credit the original artist/writer in your post! COPY & SHARE THE LINK to the original post where you found the fan content. Having a screenshot where the artist signed their name is not enough!
