- Self-promoted YouTube videos must use the "(Self-Promo) YouTube Video)" post flair. Self-promoted Twitch clips must use the "(Self-Promo) Twitch Clip" post flair.
- Do Not Share Codes, Keys, Gift Packages, etc.: Don't ask for or share mentor/mentee codes, game CD keys, gift packages, pearls, guild payouts, or pearl items.
- No Encouraging Cheating: Do not post descriptions, images, or videos encouraging cheats, hacks/speedhacks, hidden information mods, private servers, pilots/bots, payout/account selling, ban evasion, etc. Do not post calls to action or threaten legal retaliation regarding bans.
- Do not promote, instruct, or encourage others to participate in credit card scams, payment chargeback scams, and third-party exploit services.
- r/BlackDesertOnline only provides discussion and support for official retail versions of the game.
- No Guild Recruitment: Please visit /r/BDOGuilds for guild recruitment needs. If you can't find what you're looking for: all regions and the console versions should check their respective main Discords for links or recruiting channels.

- Bikini/underwear images or images which are not appropriate for opening in public spaces **must** be flaired as NSFW. Lengthy bans will be issued for lack of NSFW-flairing.
- Strictly no nude character images.
- Ban Discussions: Mods of this subreddit have no control over bans issued in-game. Posts complaining about in-game bans will be removed and bans may be issued for witchhunting if names of GMs are mentioned.
- Any discussions about either subreddit bans, or post/comment removals are also prohibited as these are not relevant to the game and only risk inciting further drama. Bans are issued and content is removed at Moderator discretion.
- Leaks & Rumours: Speculation is fine as long as it is obvious you're just speculating. Intentionally spreading rumours or unconfirmed content is strictly prohibited. This includes the spreading of leaks/releases before Pearl Abyss have publicly revealed it.
- AI Content: AI-Generated text posts are strictly prohibited.
- AI-Generated images **must** use the "AI-Generated" post flair **and** also state that it is AI within the post's title. Both of these requirements must be true, not just one or the other.
- Whilst there are no specific amount limits at this time, we might remove content from you if you are posting an excessive amount of AI content.
