- If you are an author who made an audiobook using AI.... you can post. But expect to be flamed for it. Just record it yourself, or hire someone.
- You Must Announce Any Association With Books: Author/Publisher/Narrator Posting Guidelines:
- Your posts are welcome and encouraged. However, You must clearly identify any association you have with the book you are posting
- Free audiobook giveaways are welcome, same rules apply.
- Limit promo threads to once per week: We welcome authors, narrators etc giving away copies of books, or promoting their books. However to avoid the spamming of books by a small group we are limiting these posts to once per week per reddit user.
- Multiple posts will be deleted.
- If you want to post more than once per week, there is always there Freebie Friday post that you can comment in.
- And as per our other rules: you MUST clearly state your association with the book.
- Use of Affiliate Links: Affiliate links are generally not encouraged for /r/audiobooks
- If an affiliate link is used it MUST:
- 1) be clearly stated within the post that it is an affiliate link
- 2) be of additional benefit to the community (so no generic linking to sites that are likely well known like audible.com or audiobooks.com etc)
- Not meeting #1 will have posts removed immediately. Item #2 shall be at the discretion of the subreddit moderators
