- Be respectful.: Primarily, this is a lighthearted subreddit for individuals on the autism spectrum. Targeted harassment will result in a temporary or permanent ban. Additionally, content expressing harmful or ableist attitudes, even if it is not targeted at a specific individual, will be removed.
- No racism, sexism, transphobia, ableism, or other bigotry. This includes using the slurs.: We wish this to remain a safe place - Bigotry and hate of any form does not belong here. This includes using the slurs. Even for reclaimed slurs, slurs are not allowed.
- We are an autistic space - autistic voices are protected: Aspiememes is intended as an autistic space and wishes to protect and encourage autistic voices. Gatekeeping is not acceptable. NT's and other neurodivergences are invited to take part in this subreddit as our friends.
- Please do not speak over any autistic person in talking about or defining their reality of autism. Asking questions for clarity and understanding is fine. Invalidating or otherwise shutting down autistic voices is not.

- Do not invalidate gender: An individual's gender does not require approval from anyone. Invalidating an individual's right to express their own gender identity is not permitted.

- Only post relevant autism-related content.: Content must have something to do with autism (e.g., special interests, stimming). Posting multiple memes about your own special interest may be considered spam, and such posts can be removed at the mod's discretion.
- Please not post content unrelated to autism, such as selfies, tiktoks, advertisements, or any meme deemed inappropriate for the sub by a moderator.
- Do not promote Autism Speaks or ABA: This organization and its NT lauded practice of ABA has been deemed abusive by many autistic voices. Support or advocacy for either is not permitted.
- Do not spread misinformation: Misinformation will not be tolerated. Repeated attempts to spread misinformation may be cause for a ban.
- No posting test results from online autism quizzes: Please don't post screenshots from any sort of autism quiz! Such posts aren't memes and are more suited for general autism subs such as r/aspergers.
- No advertising or Surveys: As this is a meme sub - we do not allow any advertising, online store links or surveys.
- We recommend reaching out to the moderators of other more general autism subreddits which may be better suited, such as r/autism r/aspergers etc
- No Twitter/X links!: In solidarity along with most other subreddits, and in opposition to Elon Musk, all Twitter and X links are now banned from r/aspiememes!
- No AI generated content: Any posts or comments containing AI generated content will be removed. Please do not post AI slop here.
- Weekly posting schedule: Certain post types are limited to only certain days of the week to reduce clutter and spam. The schedule is as follows:
