We are not equipped and do not have the training to handle mental health or health anxiety questions. Please seek professional help or other forums for this inquiry.
- No False Information or Expertise: Members who make false medical statements based on their “professional training” will be warned and you may be asked to submit verification of training. If you’re caught lying, you will be permanently banned from the group.
- If you are advising and you have no medical training, this can be considered false information which can result in your post being deleted and a ban.
- Humility Required: Arguing with someone who is more qualified is not allowed (ie, Paramedic arguing with a Cardiologist, or Radiologist arguing with a Electrophysiologist). - Medical professionals need many tests to understand complex cardiac diseases, we cannot even as medical professionals diagnose someone over the internet. Other patients suggesting diagnosis’ to other patients is only going to drive fear, harm and increased unnecessary health care utilization.
