- 7 or Reddit-wide rules (e.g. *'Women and men should have equal voting rights'*).
- Top-level posts must contain at least 250 characters of coherent text: Give an explanation behind your opinion. You don't need to write a novel, but at least put a few sentences of elaboration in the text body.
- Text will only be considered "incoherent" if it is repeated text, gibberish, random words, or the like. "Logically flawed", "baseless", or "incorrect" doesn't count as incoherent for the purpose of this rule.
- Attack the opinion, not the user: Engage in honest, respectful discussions. Do not personally attack or mock others. If you believe that an opinion is ignorant/uninformed/offensive, then attack the opinion on its merits.

- No spam, trash, or trolling: Keep all discussion on topic. Do not post content designed primarily to anger users or to elicit a desired reaction from users. Do not spam. Do not post nonsensical content. Do not make posts or comments primarily in a language other than English.
