We look at profile information and content posted on other subreddits. The purpose of this rule is to reduce the amount of chasers coming to this subreddit.
- No Thirst Trap or Crossdresser Fetish Picts: Thirst Traps only attract chasers who are not allowed in this subreddit. This is also not a place for crossdressers to post fetish picts. Crossdressing and being transgender is NOT the same thing. While it is OK for crossdressers who are questioning their gender identity to ask questions, keep in mind that this subreddit exists for those that identify differently than the sex they were assigned at birth.
- No Chasers: Chasers will be banned. This is not a fetish or dating subreddit. Comments that are "creepy" or fetishising towards anyone will be removed and the account will be banned. There are plenty of other subreddits for that, but not here. We will remove any posts treating trans bodies as fetishes or objects, and any posts that indicate your attraction is more important than someone's dysphoria. Flag posts will be screen and even content from post and comment history alone may flag and ban you.
- No Fake Photos: Undisclosed, altered photos (photoshop/FaceApp, etc) will be removed and subject to being banned. FaceApp is acceptable only if using FaceApp is disclosed in the post.
- Please be respectful/civil.: Disagreements are fine as long as one can disagree without resorting to invalidating someone else’s experiences or personal attacks. Do not insult other users. Flaming will be removed.
- Do not use slurs or hateful rhetoric.
- biphobia, homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny, ableism, or other hateful rhetoric is permitted. This includes the use of slurs and stereotyping.
- Posts with NSFW content must be marked.: Posts that center around genitals, breasts, sex, or content you would not discuss with coworkers, your grandmother, or other delicate company should be marked as NSFW.
- Posts must be on topic.: Posts in this subreddit must relate to transgender topics and issues. This is not a fetish subreddit and is intended for support and information on transgender topics. Posts with the purpose of selling any product are also not allowed.
- Do not troll, bait, or participate in bad faith.: Obvious trolling, baiting, and other posts made in bad faith will be removed. Violators will be banned on site.
- Do not air personal grievances: Please keep personal disagreements and/or drama with other members of the subbreddit personal. This sub is not an avenue to air personal grievances or someone's dirty laundry.
- No stirring the pot.: Please do not post threads that target a different sub or link to threads in a different sub, brigading, or intentionally creating drama.
- No Posting Surveys/Questionnaires.: Please message the mods for approval before posting surveys/questionnaires. We'd like to review the survey before it is posted. (Reddit community polls are allowed)
- No FundMe Posts: Post with links to GoFundMe type of sites will be removed. Reddit will usually automatically remove these anyway, but the will be enforced here as well.
- Age 30 or up required to post.: This sub is for those who (socially and/or medically) transition later in life aka at minimum 30 years or older. Posts from people younger than this will be removed. There are plenty of other trans related subs directed at younger folk.
- For comments there will not be an age requirement.
