  1. Only "ThatsInsane" content: This subreddit is for things that are a little bit more wild, crazy, terrifying and incredible than the average. And for stuff that is generally insane! Fake content does not qualify as "Insane content". Think before submitting, would I find this post "ThatsInsane" if it would be someone else who posted it. Posts should be able to elicit a reaction of "ThatsInsane" from viewers.
  2. No racism, bigotry, hate speech, inciting violence, etc: This includes, but is not limited to, Racism, hate speech, bigotry, homophobia, islamophobia, and incivility will be removed and the poster will be banned. Do not in any way attempt to incite violence, or hate based on identity, directly or indirectly, you will get banned. We will be enforcing the [reddiquette](https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/205926439-Reddiquette) and reddit's [official rules](https://redditinc.com/policies/reddit-rules), so you need to obey them.
  3. No pornography, overly gore, or disturbing material: Examples of what can count as "overly gore/disturbing material" include stabbing, shooting, rape, serious injuries, children getting hurt, animal abuse, nasty things, and other content that contains scenes with a lot of blood.
  4. Moderator Discretion: Posts are at the discretion of the moderators. If we do not believe it fits the sub, or think it is spam, we will remove it.
  5. Repost Guidelines: This is only for reposts that have been posted to /r/ThatsInsane recently, is in top of all time or have been posted so often on reddit that the majority of users have seen this content. Quasi-reposts may also be removed per mod discretion.
  6. Claims must be sourced in comments: Posts with claims must have a linked and credible source that backs up the information. OP is the one responsible for this and it must be provided at time of posting. Also misleading information will be removed.
  7. Use descriptive titles: Non-descripted titles will be removed. Titles must describe the content, not your feelings or reactions to the content. "insane" or "this is crazy" is not a proper description.
  8. No violence
  9. violence, so no fights or injuries that **are not very very minor**. This obviously includes death posts, those are strictly forbidden.
  10. No serious crimes
  11. lootings, rape or other serious crimes. Don’t post something and directly or indirectly say ”this person commited this crime” or showing someone committing a **serious** crime.
  12. Avoid rage-bait posts/comments: Avoid rage-bait posts. Some posts may be allowed per moderator discretion. A rage-bait post can include, but is not limited to, protests that usually leads to a lot of inciting violence and hate based on identity in the comments, or islamophobia, homophobia etc, will be removed per this rule. Frequent offenders will be banned. The issue is that users exploit loopholes by posting rage-bait comments and posts to indirectly promote hate or incite violence, without actually doing it themselves.
