- Only Diagetic Visuals: Stories may include diagetic images (i.e. are actually apart of the plot itself) but all non-diagetic imagery should be either inckuded as a HYPERLINK or in the comments The only exception are comics as that is a different storytelling media entirely.
- Break Up All Posts by 24hrs: Please wait 24hrs between posts. That goes for stories, asking for help, or any other type of post
- exceptions.
- Stay Relevant: Please only post content that is relevant to the subreddit. The only content allowed on the main feed are genuine, written submissions (no shit posts, no minimal effort blurbs, etc), writing advice/questions, and publishing/narrated announcements. We do not allow hype posts, art posts (see
- 8), or personal updates regarding your story. The main feed is not your personal social media page.
- Creepcast centered content should go in r/creepcast or r/creepcastshitposting.
- No Blatant Self Promo: Post cannot primarily be promotion. The post must contain an original story. A link to a published book, kofi, etc at the bottom of the post is fine.
- Content Warnings : Please use content warnings (CWs) if your story contains detailed descriptions of rape, child abuse, and suicide. You can include more if you want. For reference, if Borrasca, Spire in the Woods, or Tommy Taffy was posted here, they'd require CWs.
- All Prompts/Challenges/Collaborations Must be Approved by Mods: Prompts/Challenges/And public requests for collaborations must be approved by mods. Feel free to handle all that off the subreddit (like private DMs, separate server, etc) and present the final product here if you wish, but this is just to ensure things run smoothly and we can prevent potential drama occurring on the sub.
- No Callout Posts: Do not post any call-out post about other users, the mods, or other subreddits. Call-out posts never work and only succeed in someone being witch hunted for no reason. Please contact the mods if you have an issue
- No Plagiarism/Reposts: We do not allow plagiarism on this subreddit. Anyone caught plagiarizing stories will be permanently banned. We also do not allow reposts of stories from other users/websites/etc even with credit (though you won't be banned for that).
