  1. Advertising: Please do not use the TMJ subreddit for advertising your products/services. This includes Dr's who want to advertise your practise (including linking to your youtube, website, or subreddit if considered advertising, GoFundMe and other such donation requesting websites, and companies who make night guards!
  2. This will lead to your posts being removed and if it continues to happen after warning(s) you will be banned!
  3. Spam: Please do not spam r/TMJ. Your post will be removed and you will be banned. This includes dodgy night-guard companies trying to make a quick buck from those who are suffering and posting the same thing over and over again (such as a certain name, or a certain practise etc)
  4. It gets very annoying and it is not helpful at all as it just seems like all you are doing is plugging someone you work for!
  5. Be kind!: Please behave how you would if you was speaking to someone face to face, and treat others how you want to be treated in return.
  6. Be courteous and kind instead of being rude and swearing at each other please!
  7. There is no need to not be nice, and if you are continuously horrible you may be banned.
  8. Flair posts as appropriate: Please use the flair / NSFW etc tabs on your posts as appropriate.
  9. This makes it easier for people to answer your questions and get involved in discussions etc depending on what they're looking for.
  10. No affiliate/GoFundMe Links
  11. asking for money including posting links to websites such as GoFundMe, or posting links that you are rewarded for (affiliate links)
  12. No diagnosing others: We are not here to diagnose - that is a Drs job! By all means make suggestions but we are not professionals here and should not be diagnosing anybody.
  13. Keep posts on subject: This is a TMJD subreddit. Please try to keep posts and comments somewhat related to TMJD! Fine if a conversation happens but please don't post what your cat did last Tuesday!
  14. Low/no effort: Low/no effort posts will be removed. This means that if you post a question for which the answer could easily be googled, or a post with one sentence that no one can answer because of lack of context, it will just be removed.
  15. No face photos
  16. photos of your, or someone else's face. If you need to show where your face pain is please use a anatomy image from google
  17. No X-ray, CT or MRI scan images
  18. uploading copies of your X-rays, CT or MRI scans.
