Subreddit Rules
  1. Posts must include a link to a survey: We require a link to a survey in the body of the post, and not a set of questions asked in the body. We do not allow study recruitment.
  2. Information gathered should be sufficiently anonymized, and some users will be uncomfortable having private information (age, gender, etc) attached to their Reddit account.
  3. Post titles must include the appropriate flair.: All post titles must include the appropriate flair at the start. Use the Casual, Academic, or Marketing flairs for surveys. The Meta flair for discussion of survey methodology. The Results flair for posts sharing the results of a previously posted survey. The Needs Assistance flair is specifically for users to ask for help when they don't know how to use their data or for other needs.
  4. Report any posts that are missing a tag or are improperly flaired.
  5. Post titles must include the topic of the survey.: All posts must include the topic of the survey in the title. You should be able to give people a general idea of what the survey asks about. (Something like "survey for my english class" is **not** an adequate description.)
  6. Here is an example:
  7. Favorite Ice Cream (US 18+)
  8. Please see the title guidelines listed in the [sidebar](/r/SampleSize/about/sidebar) for more details. Report any posts that do not describe the topic in the title.
  9. Post titles must include the intended demographic.: All posts must include the intended demographic of the survey in the title. Who you want to answer your survey: age, country, characteristics, etc. Let potential respondents know whether they should participate.
  10. Requiring a google sign-in does not count against this rule.
  11. If your demographic is too long for your title, please clarify in the body what extra details you require.
  12. Please see the title and gender guidelines listed in the [sidebar](/r/SampleSize/about/sidebar) for more details.
  13. Don't link your survey or ask other to take your survey in comments on other posts: Please refrain from soliciting participants in the comments section of other surveys, or in unsolicited private messages to other users.
  14. The discussion section for each thread is for comments about that survey. If you see people doing this, feel free to report the comment, and we'll remove it and talk to them about it.
  15. Please see the commenting guidelines listed in the [sidebar](/r/SampleSize/about/sidebar) for more details.
  16. Reposts must be tagged; only 1 per day is allowed.: Please feel free to repost your survey after 24 hours have passed since your last post.
  17. Please add [Repost] to your original title to prevent getting duplicate respondents. Here is an example:
  18. [Repost] Favourite Colour? (All)
  19. If your previous post is less than 24 hours old, your repost will be removed. Please remember to repost within reason.
  20. Please see the reposting guidelines listed in the [sidebar](/r/SampleSize/about/sidebar) for more details.
  21. Don't ask for upvotes anywhere in your post: Asking for upvotes anywhere in your post, including in the survey, [is considered vote manipulation](https://www.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043066412).
  22. Please be polite and respectful.: This community is welcoming; hate speech and abusiveness will never be tolerated. Offenders will be banned at the discretion of the mods.
  23. Constructive criticism is welcome; insults are not. This includes bigotry, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and personal attacks of any kind. Please remain civil.
  24. To report more serious/recurring violations, feel free to [send us a modmail](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2FSampleSize) with the details. (Modmails are not anonymous)
