- Posts must include a relevant costume.: Keep posts and comments relevant to the theme of the sub (renaissance festival, historical, fantasy, and LARP costumes). The Renaissance primarily includes the 15th and 16th centuries, but many other costumes of other eras including those of imagination and fantasies are also encouraged. A list of some acceptable costumes can be found in the costume posting guide tab located at the top of the subreddit.
- Original Content Only: Only post your own new content. Pics can be of yourself or anyone you took pictures of yourself. Do not share content that is not yours. Do not share other peoples pictures or pictures simply found elsewhere on the internet.
- Image Content: Posts must be pictures featuring people wearing costumes. When posting multiple images, the first image seen in the post must feature a person wearing a costume. Pictures that are cropped, way too close, only show part of a costume, or show a costume that isn't being worn are not permitted.
- No Post Process Censoring - No Emojis - No Blurring: Blurring, pixelating, black bars, scribbles, emojis, etc are not permitted. However, concealing portions of your costume or your face and body in real life is permitted. The use of things like hoods, masks, cloaks, etc is permitted.
- No NSFW Posts in the Subreddit: Anything that might be considered NSFW is not permitted. Accounts that primarily link to NSFW products and services will have their posts removed. Post NSFW content to other subreddits or your own reddit profile.
- Post Frequency: Posts are currently limited to one per twelve hour intervals. Posts featuring a costume previously showcased must be made no sooner than two weeks since it's previous post.
- No low effort posts or poor quality pictures & videos.: Only post good quality pictures and videos that are in focus, and well-lit. Blurry, dark, low-resolution images will not be accepted
- screenshots of an image allowed. Posts with low effort or irrelevant titles and descriptions will be removed.
- Promotions & Advertisements: Promoting, advertising, and linking products or services is not allowed. Businesses that are relevant to the community can message the mods to discuss marketing.
- Be respectful of all members of the community.: Harassment, hate speech, and discrimination will not be tolerated. Overwhelmingly negative posts and comments will be removed and the user may be banned. Excessively responding to comments with unrelated responses including messaging requests is not permitted. Please report anything like this. Community members should feel comfortable posting and commenting.
- Auto Mod: Posts and comments that contain any banned words may be automatically held for review. Brand new accounts, accounts with negative or low karma, and accounts that have not joined the community may have their posts and comments automatically held for review. They may appear to have been deleted while they are being held for review.
- The moderation team reserves the right to remove any content or ban any user.: Look through the subreddit and get an idea for what people have been posting and commenting before posting and commenting for the first time.
