Subreddit Rules
  1. Civility Is Expected: Differences of opinion are terrific. Being a jerk is not. Personal attacks and insults won’t be tolerated.
  2. Keep It Princess-Specific: There are other subs for general cruise discussion, politics, public health - almost any topic under the sun.
  3. No Solicitation / Affiliate Marketing: This is not a bazaar for vendors to hawk wares.
  4. Travel agents, outside sales reps, affiliate marketers, paid influencers, shorex vendors or any other entity who could materially gain from a given post or comment are not welcome. Links outside of Reddit must be very relevant to the topic at hand, not a general link to a site in general.
  5. This is not intended to limit references from happy customers, nor to block questions about service providers.
  6. No Low-Effort Responses: “Call Princess”, “Ask your travel agent”, “Get a passport” would be examples of low-effort responses. OP came here and asked. If you don’t like the question, scroll right on by or downvote.
  7. No Discussion Of Cannabis: Until Princess announces a change in policy permitting cannabis products onboard subject to itinerary-specific restrictions, this isn’t the place to discuss bringing cannabis, THC or CBD.
  8. No “I Got COVID” Threads: Since it’s not possible to assign blame to anyone or anything specific to a Princess cruise, this topic is not up for discussion.
  9. Roll Call Posts: Reddit lacks tools to manage roll calls (posts looking for other passengers on the same voyage). Please use the Roll Call post flair, and include the ship name, departure port and departure date in the post title. Roll Call posts without these four items will be locked, a comment made to repost with the requested information, and then deleted.
  10. Roll Call posts can include links to Roll Calls hosted on Cruise Critic or Facebook - because they have better tools.
  11. YouTube Video Policy: YouTube video links are allowed if they are **very** Princess-specific. Examples would include but are not limited to Princess ship tours, cabin tours, OceanNow, MedallionNet, Princess Cays and onboard activities/amenities. General cruise topics, shore excursions, discussion of multiple topics not exclusive to Princess and/or promotions of a channel in general will not be allowed.
  12. Don’t Yuck Someone Else’s Yum: Not everyone cruises the same way. Some redditors enjoy hanging out in their cabin to watch movies or play video games. Some don’t. Some like to wear black tie and gowns for formal nights. Some don’t. If you don’t like how someone plans to spend their cruise, scroll right on by. Telling people they can do <x> at home isn’t constructive.
