- Use NSFW tag for nudity/injuries/post-surgical appearances: Any post with photos not appropriate for a work environment must be censored using the NSFW tag. This includes any injuries or wounds, bandages, blood, bruising, and full or partial nudity (even if underwear is worn). Also, minors are not to post NSFW content.
- No promotions/giveaways/begging/ads (BAN): You may not use this sub to promote a clinic, treatment or product that you have an interest in - or to request money.
- We ban for any type of sexual selling/fetish selling/ adult content creation online. This includes: having an onlyfans (or similar) and using your account to promote it, creating fetish content, being an adult content creator or looking for any type of sexual financial relationship such as findom, escorts or similar.
- Poor quality photos: If you post photos, please ensure they are well-lit, in focus and not pixellated. Before and after photos should be taken with similar angles and conditions.
- Abusive or sexualised language (BAN): Abusive language may result in a ban. In particular, any homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic or sexual comments are likely to result in a permanent ban. We never permit thirsty/hook up/dating comments or comments that someone is sexy or hot. Comments that inform OP that you preferred their pre-op appearance (without any further aesthetic explanation) are unhelpful and will be removed.
- "What surgery should I get?": Decisions on the surgery you want to have are yours alone.
- You MAY ask: "What procedure would I get to address [this specific issue]?" "Out of these procedures, which is the most appropriate to address [this specific issue]?"
- You may NOT ask: "Should I get/would I benefit from [procedure]?" "Would X be worth it?" "What procedures do you recommend for me to look better?" "How can I improve my profile / facial balance / masculinity?" "Do I have [this cosmetic issue]?"
- Refrain from empty or irrelevant compliments: It is permitted to compliment users, but if comments do not address OP’s question, they may be removed in order to keep the discussion focused. If you don't think someone should get a procedure, you should explain why that is in objective terms.
- If you are morally opposed to plastic surgery, then do not post or comment here (BAN): This sub is intended to be a supportive environment, and if your comments indicate that you are prejudiced against plastic surgery in general, you may be banned. It is fine to state that someone would not benefit from a procedure, but you must explain why using objective aesthetic language.
- Bad advice: This includes unsafe or DIY treatments, unevidenced complementary therapy such as acupuncture, arnica, gua sha or mewing. Users from incels/looksmax communities are not permitted.
- Evidence of severe mental illness / BDD (BAN): Plastic surgery is not suitable for all people. If your posts give us cause for concern that you may have body dysmorphic disorder, another severe mental illness or obsessive behaviour that is driving a need for cosmetic surgery, your post may be removed and you may be banned for your own safety. BDD is a severe psychiatric condition and should not be conflated with the more liberally-used term “dysmorphia”.
- Negative review posts should include evidence: While criticism of surgeons and outcomes is allowed, we ask that posts dedicated to being critical of a particular surgeon or dissuade other potential patients from seeing them be substantiated with some objective evidence so that users can form a balanced opinion. No outside links to other platforms allowed in comments.
- Surgeon and Offices Posting : Surgeons and Offices are allowed to post once a week. They should clearly state in the title that they are the ones posting and it is not a patient. Before/after photos must be under similar conditions (including lighting, pose, and presence/absence of makeup). They also are required to answer comments in a reasonable time frame.
- No Posts Right After Procedures : We do not allow complaint posts while in a post op or post procedure panic.

- That is because people are unable to give you any proper answers during this period because you are extremely swollen. The answer is always swelling.
- Not A Mental Health Sub: This is not the proper place discuss mental health struggles due to plastic surgery. We do not have a support system in place to provide this kind of care. Please seek out your nearest mental health professional and discuss these struggles with them.
