Subreddit Rules
- Age tag required at end of post title, ex: [38YO]: Your post should contain the following tag at the end [ageYO], where age is your current age in numbers.
- For example, I am 38 years old. Therefore, all my post titles this birthday year will be followed by the following:
- Common issues:
- - You are missing your age tag.
- - You forgot to include YO in your age tag after age number.
- - You did not enclose tag in square brackets [].
- - You did not place the tag at the end of the title. (it should be the last thing, no periods after it).
- No personal skateboarding footage (videos or photos) if you are under [30YO]: - There is no age restriction as long as you are not posting your skateboarding footage (videos or photos).
- - Your post will be removed if it violates this rule.
- - This is implemented by design to allow the younger skaters to interact with the older skaters but not make the subreddit pointless.
- - If you are less than [30YO] and want to post your skateboarding footage please use communities which are more appropriate (ex: r/skateboarding).
- No advertising: Advertising e-commerce websites/shops with the purpose of financial gain is forbidden and the post will be removed. This includes, but is not limited to: links to websites selling merchandise, websites with giveaways, charity/donation events, brick-and-mortar businesses.
- Skateboarding Content Only - No Roller Skates, Inline Skates, Scooters, or Similar: This subreddit is dedicated strictly to skateboarding culture, history, gear, and skating itself. That means no roller skates, inline skates (blades), scooters, or similar content. Photos, videos, discussions, and questions should all be clearly tied to skateboarding.
