- Sales: We've had an increase in scammer activity, both here and other places. For the safety of the community as well as to help legit sellers, you are now required to post a photo of your doll with your **reddit username** and date handwritten on a piece of paper. This is to verify that the doll is in your possession. Any for sale post without a photo of doll and username will be deleted.
- No posts asking for value or pricing. : We no longer allow posts asking for the value or worth of a doll nor do we allow for pricing advice posts. Instead we suggest you check on eBay for the dolls that have recently sold to get an idea of the value. You can also cross check on other selling platforms like Mercari or Vinted. This does not include posts asking if someone should buy a doll/if they are being scammed.
- ID Posts: ID posts are allowed but be sure to check here first or save the database for future use: https://mhcollector.com/category/characters/
- Please do not comment telling someone to “just google it” if they are requesting help with an ID. If you don’t have anything to contribute to the conversation, please refrain from commenting at all.
- No AI Art is allowed: Due to the nature of how AI art is created, we have decided that AI generated content such as images, chatbots, and other such content are not allowed on this sub.
- Source Posts: Be sure to include a source for images that are not yours and give proper credit. Inbox dolls and stock images do not need to be sourced unless related to doll news.
- Do not spam post content: What this means is posting for-sale posts multiple times a day or in a row or sharing daily created content. Wait and post those things every few days or once a week.
- Mod Discretion : The mods reserve the right to remove posts or comments at their discretion. If you have a question as to why your post was removed, feel free to send a modmail.
- No affiliate links: Please be aware we do not allow affiliate links in this sub.
- Wait 24 hours before reaching out to mods if your post is caught in the queue: We have a filter that catches a lot of posts. It will catch posts with certain words, posts from new accounts, amongst other reasons. We have to manually approve these posts. If your post didn’t break any rules, then it will be approved within 24 hours. Please wait until then to reach out to us VIA modmail about your post.
