Subreddit Rules
- No utilization of foul wording: As per noxcrew instructions, this is a family friendly community and foul wording / insulting language is forbidden.
- The only exception is for videos / clips in which a creator swears: these videos must be flaired correctly. This exception does not apply to videos of yourself. It must be a well known creator talking about MCC or take place during MCC.
- No spam (including caps) or excessive self promotion: Irrelevant or unsolicited content, similar content posted in a short period of time & content that misuses capital letters meet our definition of unwarranted spam. Please take extra care when posting content to make sure that you or someone else has not made similar content recently; consider compiling posts into a compilation instead of individual posts.
- Posts that only exist to advertise are also not allowed
- No NSFW content or Dark Humour: Posts or comments about or containing humor about extremely sensitive or NSFW topics are banned. NSFW content of any kind is a bannable offense (no exceptions, zero tolerance) even if you use an NSFW tag.
- No off topic or controversial discussion: Posts must be about the MC Championship event (posts about the community or subreddit are allowed but must be flaired with ‘meta’). Comments must at least tangentially relate to its parent and no content, even if it is about MCC, may be about sensitive or controversial topics such as (but not limited to) war, politics or community drama.
- Posts about MCCI are allowed only if they have some connection to MCC. Posts only about MCCI should be posted on our sister subreddit.
- No Low-effort post or polls: Posts are considered low effort if they are: extremely short, stating obvious facts, a repost or a tier list / team making post without a significant explanation in the comments.
- To avoid low effort posts, try and see if your post would better fit in a megathread or a discord message. Posts with explanations in the comments must have said comment posted within 10 minutes.
- No hate or harassment towards creators or community: Please be mindful that all people whether they be MCC participants or other users are human and any form of harassment or hateful comments will not be tolerated. This is not a forum for you to air your grievance and issues with someone else, please report rule breaking comments instead of getting into a flame war.
- Sharing or discussing MCC recreations is banned: Recreations of official MCC gamemodes or assets, including custom maps for existing gamemodes, are prohibited here. You are not prohibited from making them but we ask you keep them to yourselves.
- Policy on links: We have a policy regarding linking to external content: links to external sites especially, twitch clips and youtube videos are banned if it is the main point of the post. We ask for security and ease of moderating that you instead upload the video to reddit directly or embed the clip so it can be watched from reddit
- Links to malicious or NSFW sites will result in an immediate perma ban. Link shortens like bitly is also banned
