- Maintain Reddiquette, Spoiler Tags & Flairing: • Always Follow Posting Guidelines
- • Always Flair your posts appropriately: Flairing helps members navigate the sub more efficiently
- • Use the Spoiler Tag wherever necessary including posts & comments. Do not include spoilers in the post title.
- Repeated failure to do so will lead to bans.
- Low Effort Posts & Posting Guidelines: Please ensure that your posts include a clear title & body detailing the subject of the post and it's purpose/point of discussion and are in accordance with the other rules (no profanity, proper tags, respectful etc). Relevant sources should be mentioned for added context.
- Low Effort Posts including edits, reels etc. that are do not contribute constructively to the community discussion are discouraged and will be removed. This includes single line opinions or live episode commentaries.
- No Promotions, External Links, or AI Slop: • No Promotions: All YT/Insta/Twitter Promotional posts will be removed and accounts will be banned, in accordance with Reddit Rules.
- • No External Links: Members are requested not to include external links to other websites, social media, personal blogs etc. in their posts. This essential inorder to protect member privacy & avoid doxxing.
- • No Fan Edits or AI Slop: Morphed, AI generated Content, Fan Edits are not allowed: Fan Edits will be considered as promotional content.
- No Hate Speech or Bigotry: Members are strictly expected to maintain civility:
- Any forms of hate speech, bigotry, excessive sexualisation, racism, casteism, homophobia, sexism or ableism are strictly NOT allowed. Any comments condoning violence or displays of aggression are strictly prohibited. Bans will be issued for the same.
- This includes bodyshaming or slutshaming the contestants, speculating someone's sexuality, and the use mental illnesses as insults.
- No Religious or Political Flaming: Any comments flaming discussions or fights based on religion or politics, beyond the scope of the show will not be allowed. Mod discretion will be utilised.
- No Fanwars or PR Accusations: Do not bring drama from other communities or twitter onto the sub. Avoid excessive fandom glazing and try to maintain neutrality.
- The sub is for discussions regarding the show, not a fandom. Fan activity should be directed onto the relevant sub.
- Accusing members as PR, without any corroboration is considered meta and will lead to a ban.
- Moderator's Right to protect Sub: Mods reserve the right to ban any member who they feel is detrimental to this community.
- Remain on Topic: The subreddit exists to discuss the show LockUp & it's contestants. All posts or comments deemed as adhering to other subjects will be removed.
- This includes cross-platform drama, cross-subreddit drama, or comments about the subreddit itself. Complaints or recommendations about the sub should be directed to the mods via ModMails and not as seperate posts. Such posts are meta in nature. The mod team is active and will take these into account.
- Brigading / Anti sub activities: There's a ban for anyone who participates in anti sub activities on other subs.
