- Asking for links will get you banned for at least 30 days.
- We abide by and support the Reddit User Agreement and the Reddit Rules.
- Be respectful and avoid bigotry: This community is designed to be welcoming to all, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation etc. As such we kindly ask you to not use offensive language and avoid the use words such as slurs.
- All content must be related to Kimetsu no Yaiba: Under normal circumstances this rule would go without saying, however we are all aware that certain individuals are always present on this website who feel like they can post anything as they see fit.
- Our standard procedure is to remove OCs.** We only allow high quality, outstanding and unique OCs on a case to case basis. They need at least a unique drawing that you created and a good background / story.
- You can use r/OCDemonSlayer/ if you definitely want to post your character.
- No low-effort posts or Memes: Posts must not contain any of types of content:
- 1) Basic screenshots from the anime/manga with a generic title e.g. “NGL this fight was fire
- 2) Images or memes lacking good editing effort. Captions plus a screenshot are often not enough. e.g. "What's your favorite upper moon?" With just a screenshot.
- 3) Posts with an overused question that has been discussed before. e.g. "The breathing effects are real and here's why!"
- 4) Tierlists
- 5) Low effort Titles will be Removed, be descriptive.
- No Self-Promotion: Be active in the community, this is not our personal blog.
- It is welcomed to share your twitter, Pixiv, or other personal sites so that people can see more of your work. However, do not treat the subreddit as your advertisement platform.
- Blatant advertisement or self-promotion is prohibited, especially from users who don't interact with the community. Youtube links to your channel/video also fall under this. If you're ever in doubt you can always contact the mod team via modmail and ask.
- No Spam or Reposting: Make sure to not post excessive content that does not create any discussion and in general just wastes space. Users should make no more than 4 submissions to this subreddit within a 24 hour window and not more than 2 per hour.
- In order to avoid reposting, please check if your submission has been posted in the past 30 days or If It's in the all-time top list of the subreddit. All time top list is defined as the first 3 pages of the most upvoted posts on the subreddit ever.
- Extreme Overly sexual content isn't allowed: Overly sexual and NSFW content isn’t allowed. Hentai isn’t excluded from this rule. Mild ecchi and some cosplay can be tolerated on a case by case basis. Overly sexual "jokes" are not allowed and neither is sexualizing the character of KnY. Cosplayers that have their OF linked will not be allowed to post content.
- All self posts and comments have to be in English: We fully understand that there are active manga/anime communities all across the globe, but this subreddit will be limited to English discussion only. Exceptions are of course sources of information that are in Japanese (most commonly) or perhaps other languages.
- Source Art that is not yours: limited to Friday-Sunday: Fan art or cosplay that was not made by you, may only be posted on Friday through Sunday (00:00 AM to 11:59 PM UTC/GMT). Credit the original artist in the comment section if it is not your work. Linking to the artists account if preferred as long as their blog or website is SFW.
- In addition, if you want to promote your personal art channel/account along with your OC fanart or cosplay, please offer some form of verification in the comments of your post or to the mods through modmail.
- Tag Spoilers Properly: All manga posts must be spoiler tagged and posts about the two latest anime episodes must be spoiler tagged. **Spoilers of any kind in titles are explicitly banned!**
- All leaks and spoilers of unreleased chapters may not be posted outside of the dedicated leak threads.
- 1 Week Submission Rule: Aside from the official thread, no new thread submissions about the most recent episode/chapter until 7 days have passed since the time it's released.
- AI Content Policy: Our default policy is to remove AI content (that includes AI generated images, texts, videos and AI chatbots) as low effort.
- No powerscaling threads outside of the monthly power scaling Megathread: Discussions about a character's power scaling, abilities, and comparisons belongs in the 'Monthly Power Ranking Megathread.’ Discussions of “who would win", Hashira ranking strength debates, hypothetical VS scenarios (eg another verse vs KnY) or Upper Moon debates belong in the megathread. Discussions outside of the megathread will be removed.
- Not a selling platform: We do not want and allow people to sell or buy things in this Subreddit.
