We are an inclusive, supportive community where individuals with vaginas/vulvas, however they may identify, can come to seek advice and support for vaginal health. This sub does not take the place of IRL medical advice, but aims to provide a safe space for questions and commiserations. Welcome!

Subreddit Rules
- Don't be a dick.: This is a sub for safe, open discussion about the maintenance, habits, questions and tips related to vaginal health. We welcome all people to ask questions or initiate discussions. There will be zero tolerance for bullying, name calling, harassing, inappropriate sexual comments, or any other asshole-like behavior. This behavior may lead up to a permanent ban at moderator discretion.
- This sub does NOT take the place of medical advice: Most of the people here are giving advice from their own experiences. Assume nobody here is a doctor, even if they promise they are. Reddit is an open source, user driven website. Anyone can post anything.
- Posts and comments should not contain “miracle cures”, absolutes, guarantees, or attempts at making a medical diagnosis.
- DMs to Users - NO PHOTO REQUESTS: DMs to sub users are generally discouraged unless specifically solicited by the user. Discussions are best kept to the comment section for visibility and transparency. Inappropriate DMs flagged to mod attention will result in a permanent ban.
- DO NOT SEND OR REQUEST PHOTOS. Please report any user who asks!
- Recipients of inappropriate DMs should also ban the user themselves, as a ban doesn't stop users from viewing the sub or choosing to DM others. It only stops them from posting and commenting.
- All posts with links are screened: This is to avoid NSFW rule breaking photos popping up in newsfeeds. Posts with links will be screened and approved individually.
- Research/Surveys MUST be Mod Approved: We only post one research study or survey at a time on Sundays. If you are a researcher in a relevant field and would like to post a survey in our sub, you must send a ModMail with who you are, your credentials, a link to the survey and/or a link to somewhere with info about it, the purpose behind your survey, and any other pertinent details. We will evaluate it and respond with approval or disapproval. When you post, we will make sure we sticky a comment from us stating it was mod approved.
- NSFW Photos Pt 1: We currently DO allow NSFW photos (see Pt 2 for actual rules). This rule includes discharge pics. But before doing posting, we request that you consider the following. 1. Photos are honestly rarely helpful. 2. If all you're asking is "is this normal" the answer is probably yes. 3. Remember this sub is public and by its nature can attract people with less-than-ideal intentions. Do you want your photo used in an unsavory manner? Probably not. 4. Don't post your personal medical information.
- NSFW Photos Pt 2: If you reviewed Pt 1 and still wish to post a personal NSFW photo: 1. Your post MUST be marked NSFW. 2. Photos MUST be linked in a comment to an outside hosting site; not the main body of the post OR title. 3. Poster and pictures MUST be over the age of 18. 4. Know that posts with any sort of photo link have been set up to be automatically removed and sent to our Mod Queue to be reviewed. This keeps explicit photos from unexpectedly popping up on unsuspecting users' newsfeeds.
- Gender Inclusivity: The mod team would like to give an emphatic reminder that this community was created to help all people who have vaginas and vulvas regardless of gender identity or expression. This sub purposefully uses gender neutral language to create a welcoming environment for all users. Any downvoting or negative comments related to someone’s gender identity or expression will not be tolerated.
- Do not post your own or others' private medical information.: As in, your name, address, and other personally identifying information. If posting lab results for example, edit the photo so your info cannot be seen.
- We reserve the right to ban suspected fetishists.: The only time we'll ever look at your post history is if you leave suspicious comments suggesting that you are a fetishist. We will not put up with that here. Find a different sub. This is not the place for that.
- NO soliciting, NO exceptions
- sales, advertising, MLM, or any kind of marketing. Absolutely NO SOLICITING. Posting any of your "home business" sales advertising may result in a permanent ban from the sub.
- Mods do not provide private DM support: Please refrain from DMing the mod team asking for help with your specific situation. This is a boundary we need to set to be able to continue to moderate effectively.
- Low Effort Posts: Posts should have an appropriate title, and clear/concise details in the body. Low effort posts may be removed at moderator discretion.
- Locking Threads: At times, the mods may make the decision to lock threads when the OPs question is answered. We also may do this for comment cleanup and/or to avoid devolving conversations.
- Banning Users: Everyone should be advised that while we can and DO ban problematic users at our discretion, banning does not stop them from viewing the sub and sending unwanted DMs. It only stops them from posting and commenting.
