- In addition, users who run NSFW accounts that have no history in posting on other SFW spaces and/or have pornographic profile pics will be banned. You aren’t slick.
- Note: Mod discretionwill be applied.
- No Over Sexualization or Explicit Comments: This is 100% a community of beautiful people. As such, posts attract compliments.
- If your comment is objectifying/dehumanizing, sexual, graphic or horrifyingly suggestive, it will be removed.
- Yes, emojis and phrases such as “hot” and “sexy” count too. Don’t be creepy.
- Doesn't Fit the Emo Subculture: Emo, scene, screamo, midwestern emo, hell - we'll accept alt if it fits.
- There is a lot to choose from to style yourself in order to post here.
- What we're saying is, just wearing a black outfit isn't going to cut it anymore. It's got to actually be emo style.
- NSFW Accounts Commenting: If you are mainly active on NSFW subreddits or you profile is an ad for "adult content", you will be banned. If our bot autobanned you for being active on NSFW subs, you'll remain banned.
- This isn't a porn subreddit. This is a safe space and we have zero tolerance for creeps and lewd comments.
- No Gatekeeping: This is a safe space for anyone who fits the category of "emo" to share their fashion, views, music or memes

- AI Generated Images: AI images will be accepted if they fit the subreddit on the strict condition that they are not in violation of any of the rules and are not purporting to be a real person.
- No Low Effort Captions and/or Titles: Post titles or captions must be, at minimum, four words. If a post title is less than this, or made up of just emojis or the word "hi" it will be removed.
- "is this emo/alt/goth" also counts as a bait caption and is not allowed here. If you have to ask, it probably isn't.
- Strike Tiers: Not a reporting reason, but an explanation on the rules.
- We will allow for some discrepancy, so once you've received advice from mods on the rules, if you violate the same rule we will start applying increasing bans. 1st offence - advice 2nd offence - 3 day ban 3rd offence - 30 days 4th offence - permanent ban
- Some rule violations are immediate permanent bans, like the NSFW and Harassment rules. Mod discretion will be used.
- No Repetitive Content: If you post the same content to multiple subs, that is fine. If you post the same content, over and over, to this subreddit, it will be removed.
- Self Harm: If there is any content indicating or explicitly stating that an OP or other user is harming or a risk to themselves, post or comment in question will be removed.
