- Tag spoilers. Don't put spoilers in the post title.: Have respect for new members of the community who want to experience the game by themselves.
- Posts have to be related to Disco Elysium.: Obviously. Zero Parades posts belong in r/ZeroParades unless it is ALSO related to Disco Elysium.
- Political discussions are fine, but stay civil.: Due to the nature of the game, political discussions are expected, and to some degree encouraged. Just stay civil and remember rule #1.
- No AI generated content.: This includes, but is not limited to: ChatGPT, Character.AI "scripts," ElevenLabs or RVC speech and voice cloning, AI generated images and anything else considered "generative AI," including projects that utilize generative AI.
- Machine Learning for translation (NMT) in the case of apps such as Google Translate is allowed. Please avoid using GPT/Claude/DeepSeek for translation.
- Always credit the artist.: Put the artist name in a comment/post title. Simply saying "credit to the artist" is not good enough. Provide a name/username/social media link, EVEN IF the signature is there, as these are sometimes unintelligible with Reddit image compression.
- If YOU made the art you're posting, use the OC (original content) flair.
- Reposts.: Reposts from time to time are OK if it's a meme, art or original content, but stolen posts and repost bots are not allowed. Remember to credit the artist!
- Links to X/Twitter are disallowed.: Links to X/Twitter are disallowed as of 2024. Screenshots of posts from X/Twitter are OK though. You can instead link by using XCancel, Bluesky, or other alternative Tweet viewers.
- Advertisements.: Advertisements are allowed on Disco Elysium under the premise that the product/service be related to Disco Elysium.
- The main exception is indie game advertisements, which are limited to Saturdays on the weekly Megathread. Advertisements should be limited to once per week and excessive ads will be removed.

- Low Effort: Posts must have a modicum of effort put into them. Low effort posts may be removed, including but not limited to:
- - Random pictures of IRL environments (try r/CaptumElysium) - "Measurehead" posting, incl. right-wing rhetoric on social media. - "Can X (character) solve the case?" - Comparing random IRL people to characters (i.e Asian men to Kim, overweight men to Evrart, smiling men with facial hair to Harry etc. Don't be rude or racist just to make a joke.)
- Karma farming is not allowed.
