Subreddit Rules
  1. Posts/Comments must retain relevancy to DBM: Your post must be related to Death Battle/VS content (or if discussing about a Death Battle Matchup, it must maintain high relevancy to the "Matchup" part).
  2. User-Centered Content is Not Allowed: Posts that have more to do about users than Death Battle Matchups (like AMAs where you talk about yourself) are not allowed. Things like making birthday TNs for somebody else are fine though.
  3. No Low-Effort/Karma Farm Posts: Posts that have minimal effort or are solely made to boost engagement without any relevancy are banned. Posts must have at least some form of an edit to an image to be allowed.
  4. Be respectful : Self explanatory. Don't harass or abuse other users. Remember the general Reddiquette.
  5. No usage of IRL or religious figures that aren't fictional or parodies.: The use of real people in posts is strictly prohibited unless they're a fictional version or parody of those people.
  6. Keep drama outside sub: If drama between you and other user(s) have occurred, come to the mods first without making a public post, unless its approved by moderation, drama that is outside of the sub stays like that (with exceptions if a user is dangerous)
  7. OC content is (mostly) banned: Original Characters are not to be used or asked about in posts due to the fact that they do not contribute to any form of debate whatsoever.
  8. OCs that have distinct media (and aren't made to fit into pre-existing media) are fine, as long as they have concrete visual media (Animations and Comics, for example) outside of just a vs-scale page, and have a solid, through storyline and scaling. Make sure to link the media in the comments so your post doesn't get removed.
  9. Images should maintain relevancy to posts.: The image attached to a post should be relevant to the topic itself, with the standard practice being an applicable example. How closely applicable it must be depends on the specific flair.
  10. No AI content: Any posts that use AI in any form will be taken down.
  11. No misinformation: Simple: Don't spout untruths. Though battleboarding has quite a bit of subjectivity, there are still statements that are demonstrably untrue. Even if you think something is correct, if sufficient evidence can be found to disprove it then it will be removed.
  12. No "Character Searches": Theme Searches are a type of post where you ask for a character that fits a described criteria. Just use r/TopCharacterTropes instead.
  13. 24 Hour Spoiler Period: whenever an episode comes out, there's a 24 hour period of no spoilers allowed.
  14. No Politics : Self explanatory, please keep politics off the sub, please. This isn’t the place for it
