Subreddit Rules
  1. Relevant and/or helpful posts: Non-bowling related, low effort posts, or posts with no benefit to the community will be subject to removal. High-quality, informative content from all parties (industry figures or otherwise) are welcomed, as well as questions and achievement posts from members. Otherwise, all posts will be subject to user voting without moderator influence.
  2. No Personal Information.: Unless it is a national/state record breaking performance or sourced from a news outlet all posts should be edited to remove personal information. All photos of high scores should have no more than the initials of the other bowlers visible - including the user's own name may be done at their discretion. There are exceptions: if the poster's username is incorporated as part of the name being photographer, or the poster is on staff discussing equipment or events.
  3. No Selling of Equipment: Due to logistical issues such as payment/shipping/location/etc. we don't allow selling of equipment in this sub. If we did, the sub would be spammed to hell by people trying to sell their old (often shitty) equipment. /r/bowlingmarket is our recommended alternative. Additionally, we encourage bowlers who cannot sell their equipment locally to donate their used equipment to their local youth programs to help get younger bowlers into the sport who may not be able to afford their own equipment.
  4. Behavior towards members: Personal attacks, flaming, unnecessary profanity/vulgarity, and toxic behavior towards other members is not allowed. Basically, don't be a dick.
  5. Politics are also not welcome in this subreddit. Any posts/comments inducing politics are subject to immediate removal.
  6. Moderator discretion: The moderators of this subreddit have final say in how this forum is managed, including anything not listed in these rules. Saying "but the rules don't say I can't do it" is not an accepted answer when responding to moderator interactions on behalf of the subreddit.
  7. Spoilers: Spoilers posted during the initial airing of a TV show will be subject to removal. After the initial airing has completed in all markets, any and all threads discussing the show's results will be allowed.
  8. Rules of the sport: Advocating for breaking established rules of the sport, primarily in the context of USBC/PBA rules, is not endorsed by this forum. This especially applies to sandbagging, which is toxic and detrimental to the sport. Any posts or comments under this are subject to immediate removal.
