Subreddit Rules
  1. Genuine questions only.: All questions must be geniune
  2. Be as civil as possible.: We're all existing on a floating rock in the middle of a void, it's totally free to be kinder to eachother.
  3. Any form of harrasment/bullying wont be tolerated and your comments/posts will be immediately removed.
  4. Language Inclusivity: Listen up, lads posting in Hindi (or other local language) is fine, but remember, we’re not all Hindi (or your local language) scholars. People from all over the country are here, and not everyone’s fluent. So, if you’re dropping a Hindi post, just add a quick English translation. It’s like being a good host, don’t leave people standing awkwardly in the corner
  5. translation? We’ll have to bin it faster than you can say “bhindi.”
  6. Stay on topic
  7. derailment or bad-faith tactics.: Whataboutism, deflection, manipulative arguments,etc.. are not allowed. Comments that turn conversations into circular debates are not allowed
  8. Relationship Advice on Wed/Sat: This is NOT an advice sub, **Unless it’s Wednesday or Saturday** our official “Let it out, bro” therapy-lite days.
  9. If you want relationship advice, there are plenty of other subs where you can ask, “Why did she block me after I sent 47 voicemails crying to ‘Tum Hi Ho’?” Here? We don’t care. Go drink water and call your mom.
  10. Posts asking stuff like:
  11. “How do I get over her?”
  12. “Why are women like this?”
  13. “My partner blinked twice today, is he cheating?”
  14. “Gift ideas for my situationship?” ...
  15. No agenda posting: There will be no agenda posting and no brigading or moaning about any subreddit (including r/askindianmen) In order to either a) make a circlejerk about how everyone agrees with you or b) start arguments with everyone because you're right and everyone else is a shitlord, plebian, or whatever, don't post a question that is clearly intended to create an echo chamber. If you want to get into ridiculous slapfights with people, go somewhere else.
  16. Overly political questions will be removed.: Overly political questions will be removed. There are subs like r/IndiaSpeaks, r/unitedstatesofindia, r/IndianModerate, r/indiadiscussion if you want to debate political ideas or candidates.
  17. Keep Your Daddy Issues in DMs: Post stuff begging for compliments or asking what guys think of your looks, and personality, and expect rude replies, jokes at your expense, and eventual deletion. This includes anything about your face, body, signs, stats, or “curious” questions that are just humblebrags. Don’t act shocked when it backfires. You knew what this was.
  18. No META Posts: All META Posts will be Removed, post on r/Trashinthebox or r/indiadiscussion.
  19. No Rants and Vents: Please refrain from posting rants. If you need a space to vent or seek support, consider visiting r/onexindia, where we offer dedicated male support. This includes topics like 'How to move on after a breakup' or 'What to do with my life.' Thank you for keeping the conversation positive
  20. Low Effort & Off-Topic Posts: Keep It Worthwhile. We get that sometimes you’re just passing time, but this isn’t the place for barely-there posts or spamming the chat with stuff that doesn’t add anything meaningful to the discussion. Also, if you’re looking to discuss your fantasies, r/IndiaTalkSex is your spot. Low-effort or irrelevant posts will be removed. We want real discussions,
  21. No LARPing: Use the appropriate flair that accurately reflects your identity (ie. gender, country, and age), and follow all flair rules strictly: any violation will result in a permanent ban.
  22. As it is impossible to verify beyond a reasonable doubt whether someone is LARPing on the internet, moderators will use their discretion to determine if a user is LARPing or not.
  23. Moderator decisions are final.
  24. No Generalizations: Any form of generalization is strictly prohibited
  25. Moderator Discretion : The mod team reserves the right to ban anyone, remove any post/comment and take any action at their discretion to maintain the quality, focus, and integrity of the subreddit. Not all cases are explicitly covered by the rules.
  26. Crime-Related Discussions: Crime-related posts are approved or removed based on relevance to Indian men, their overall importance, and moderator discretion.
  27. Moderators have full authority to determine which crime-related posts are approved or removed.
  28. This rule is in place because certain some crime discussions are vital to the community, while others are not
