  4. Baking-Related Questions Only: First and foremost this is a baking related ask and discussion sub! We are here to help you with your woes, questions, or concerns. Please limit your posts to this area. We will allow critiques as long as there is an obvious concern/question. This is not your platform for showcasing finished products. See r/baking for that!
  5. Recipe Requests ONLY in Monthly Thread: AskBaking is designed to help bakers who are struggling with issues that arise during the course of baking. However, sometimes you just hit a roadblock and need a new recipe STAT. In those instances, please look to our monthly Recipe Request Mega-Thread to request a recipe. This means any posts asking for recipes or recipe books or blogs will be removed. Additionally, any posts asking for ideas of what to bake will also now be redirected.
  6. Flairs: To help keep order and assist others in locating specific topics, we require all posts to be flaired. Unflaired posts will be removed by AutoMod after 24 hours.
  7. Use The Search Feature: While we certainly don't mind answering questions, you can often receive immediate help by utilizing the search bar and using keywords that relate to your issue. If we feel that you have not properly utilized the search bar, we may remove your post and encourage you to do so.
  8. Low effort posts will be deleted: Any post that asks “What’s wrong with my xxx” or for help on why their bake failed MUST post the recipe and steps. Those that do not will have their post deleted or locked until re-submitted. Posts with a generic “critique my xxx”or “how does it look” will also be deleted. Specific questions must be asked. In addition, questions like “Is this Raw” or “Is this a good recipe” will also be removed. Any posts asking for baking ideas are also not allowed. Each post must contain a question.
