- Keep Comments Appropriate : This is a 13+ community and comments should remain appropriate. Inappropriate comments will result in a permanent ban.
- Any flirtation, solicitation, or bodily compliments towards users are banned. Sexually explicit comments result in a permaban. Words like hot, sexy, etc are banned. Asking users to DM or asking to date users results in a permaban. Alternative fashion fetishism will result in a permaban. Drug talk will result in a temp ban.
- Please Use an Appropriate Account to Post/Comment : Accounts that are active on NSFW subreddits, such as commenting or posting on porn subs, and accounts with nudity in their profile will be banned from our sub if they try to comment or post on here.
- Accounts that have links to NSFW content (NSFW alts, onlyfans, fansly, etc.) and monetary links (venmo, paypal, etc.) either on their account or on their linked Instagram or Twitter will result in a ban.
- Etsys and SFW wishlists are not included.
- No NSFW or Suggestive Content: NSFW content is not allowed in the community. This includes posing that is not meant to highlight the outfit (just cleavage or butts for example) as well as bait captions. If you want to show detail, do so on good faith.
- NSFW posts will result in a permanent ban. Thirst-traps may result in a temporary or permanent ban depending on severity.
- NSFW posts also include posts that show weapons (guns, knives, etc) and drugs and posting these will result in a temporary ban.
- No Bait Captions : Any posts including images and/or captions or titles that include “suggestive" poses or verbiage AKA "thirst traps", will result in a removal and possible ban depending on severity.
- Any bait captions such as "Should I wear X or Y" should be posted in our weekly megathread.
- Caption bait such as "What's your favorite Megadeth song?", “Is this alt/Am I alt enough?”, “What style is this?”, or anything of the likeness will be removed outright.
- Bigotry = Ban: Hate speech of any kind is not allowed.
- Misgendering is not allowed and is considered hate speech.
- This is an gender inclusive community meaning that we accept all people regardless of their preferences.
- No Gatekeeping: This is a welcoming community for anyone interested in alternative fashion. There will be no gatekeeping styles or interests of any kind!
- Also, calling other users "posers" or asking them to name 5 songs will result in a permanent ban!
- Outfit Posts Only: Posts that don't show at least the top half of an outfit will be removed. Selfies, makeup, piercing, or tattoo focused posts that don't show any of the outfit will be removed. Please redirect those to r/tattoos, r/gothmakeup, r/unconditionalmakeup, r/piercings, r/fancyfollicles, or any other subreddit. Advice posts are also not allowed here any longer.
- The only exception to outfit posts rules are showing off DIY or new buys/finds (as long as theyre alternative of course)
- No Spam/Stay On Topic : Please limit your posts to 2 a day. They should each be unique outfits.
- Note: Creating new posts with the same outfit in a different pose, will be grounds for removal of all the posts that are alike. Outfit reposts are also not acceptable if you’ve posted them before.
- Furthermore, limit posting to 2 posts every 24 hours.
- Self promotion posts are not welcome, whether it be promoting a person or a company.
- Impersonation : All pictures posted in the subreddit must be of you.
- Using anyone else's picture and pretending to be them, is an immediate ban.
- You may not post on behalf of anyone.
- Reposting a previously posted outfit in another subreddit that is not a picture of you, is allowed as long as you simply link the Reddit post and do not claim to be the person in the post.
- No Doxxing, Witch-Hunting, or Requesting Personal Info : While we prefer our posters to use non-promotional, SFW account to post, we do not encourage anyone to look into posters beyond their Reddit account to make accusations.
- There is zero-tolerance here for any doxxing whatsoever. Doxxing or witchhunting will result in a permanent ban.
- Along with this, asking users their name, or asking if they are a certain other person, asking about the location in a certain photo, etc. will result in permanent bans.
- Ban Evasion
- evading any bans, custom or permanent, by creating new accounts to post or comment.
- No Low Effort Comments: Low effort comments, ie "stunning, beautiful, gorgeous, amazing" etc are automatically removed by the automoderator. Try to be more creative with your comments.
- Also, many flirty emojis are automatically removed, including 🔥💦😍😘🥵 amongst many others. Don’t act like a thirsty creep here.
- Do not DM individual moderators: Do not DM our moderators personally.
- DMing mods directly, following mods to other communities or otherwise harassing a member of the mod team (this includes getting others to harass) will result in a ban.
- Modmail is there so the whole mod team can address questions or concerns, every moderator can see all modmails. It is how you communicate with us.
- No AI Images: Please use photos of yourself, and not AI generated images, or AI modified images. This includes AI images that look like you, and images that were restyled by AI.
