Subreddit Rules
  1. No posts promoting letting AI write all of your content for you. : We focus on human-led strategy. Posts promoting 100% AI-written content are not permitted. This is a place for human insight assisted by AI, not replaced by it.
  2. No posts about letting AI do all of your SEO for you: We focus on human-led strategy. Posts promoting fully automated SEO workflows are not permitted. This is a place for human insight assisted by AI, not replaced by it.
  3. No spam: Reddit has global rules against spam. For this subreddit, anything the moderators see as spam is essentially spam. You can appeal it though. We do not mind you mentioning your brand once in awhile but don't abuse it. We don't mind you linking to something that answers a question someone asks, but add some of it in the thread. Don't just add your link. That would be spam.
  4. No adult or questionable content: Do not link to porn, gambling, crypto, viagra and similar websites. Don not post images that most people would consider pornography. Enough said.
  5. one needs more drama. Let's make this a no drama subreddit where we actually try to post helpful content, some sarcasm and a meme or two.
  6. Cross posting adding nothing original: It's very rare that the mods here are going to approve cross posting from other subreddits without you putting any effort into adding some useful information here. If you want to link to a post while making original comments here, that's more likely to get approved.
  7. Respect The Community Topic: This subreddit is dedicated to the AI Search Optimization and SEO and how they intersect. Posts or comments that dismiss this as illegitimate or "scams" are considered off-topic. While we encourage technical debate, bad-faith arguments against the existence of AI Search Optimization will be removed and you can be suspended or banned. We're here to have healthy discussions and even debates about how best to optimize for the AI era. Also, SEO is Dead posts will be removed.
  8. No Low Quality Low Effort Posts: To maintain a high signal-to-noise ratio, we require posts to be specific and well-researched. Avoid vague questions, low-effort "thoughts," or posting simple comments as standalone threads. Contributions should provide clear value to the GEO and AI-SEO community.
  9. Doxing: the action or process of searching for and publishing private or identifying information about a particular individual on the internet, typically with malicious intent.
  10. No off-topic posts: Stick to topics related to optimizing your website and online presence to help your brand become more visible to AI Search tools and platforms.
  11. Promoting Your Product Without Permission: It's simple to email the mods and ask permission to post about your product. Without permission it is spam. That includes with or without links. We usually approve as long as it is beneficial to the community without cost to them. So make sure and include content that is useful all by itself rather than part of your promotion. We also welcome anyone that wants to offer the community something for free. Not some 3-7 day trial. That's freemium, not free. Thank you for participating.
  12. No Spam DMs: Members are encourage to report spam DMs and that can lead to a permanent ban. You can always appeal, but we want to curb the amount of spam in DMs to our members here.
  13. Excessive Brand Mentions: Every now and then the mods may ignore you mentioning your brand, but don't abuse the privilege. If you do your posts will get removed and continued spamming your brand name will get you banned.
  14. Link Policy: If you write a well-researched post or article or study that is on topic for this subreddit, we will possibly allow it. We will check the quality of the linked resource. And if others report it and we find it to be of little value, your post will get deleted. If you are unsure about it, message the mods and ask. It boils down to trying to maintain a quality community and sometimes it is a judgement call. DO NOT LINK TO SOMETHING YOU ARE PROMTING> THAT IS STILL SPAM
