Subreddit Rules
- Be original.: Before you post, please check the pinned-highlighted articles at the top of the subreddit to see if your post/theory/question is already among our frequently asked and/or use the search feature to see if a recent post on a similar topic already exists to help curb the flood of redundant posts.
- If you're sharing fan art or other fan-produced materials, please credit the original artists in the title or in the comments and don't take credit for what isn't yours.
- Stay on topic.: This is a sub-reddit to discuss the '28' franchise explicitly, unrelated posts or discussion (i.e. about general zombie media) will be removed.
- This includes discussion about other zombie/infected series (The Walking Dead, Resident Evil, Train to Busan, Left 4 Dead, Dying Light, etc.), or posts dedicated to speculating about how fictional characters or real world celebrities would interact with/fare in the 28 world.
- Qualitative posts over quantitative posts.: Posts should be fruit for thought, or contribute something of value to the community. Please aim for good spelling/grammar, make posts with sufficient title/body text and constructive commentary/discussion.
- Do not just ask "what would you do" or compare the latest flu epidemic news with the Rage Virus. The same applies to images and art. Do not just share stock images of zombies, or photoshopped images of red eyes. Posts simply made to karma farm will be removed.
- No ragebaiting/flame wars. : While controversial and challenging opinions will always be accepted. Posting aggravated discussions/reviews/content WITHOUT substantial constructive, good faith/positive-value commentary or engaging in toxic behaviors (gatekeeping, outrage grifting, tribalism) with the goal of stirring up anger, confrontation or vitriol within the community is not allowed and may result in a 'cool down' ban. "I think this film is bad" is fine. "This film sucks and if you like it you're a shill/fake fan" is not.
- No dehumanizing.: This should go without saying, but posts and comments that attempt to dehumanize real-world individuals (such as the homeless, and/or those suffering from addiction -- by comparing them to the fictional infected) will be removed and the user will be banned. Do not post questionable/unsavory content that pushes a political ideology, contains obscene hateful rhetoric towards a group of people, or directly targets/attacks a mod or user personally.
- No spoilers.: Please do not make posts that spoil major plot details/character deaths/reveals about an upcoming/recently released product. During sub-wide moratoriums (the weeks surrounding a new film's release) all discussion about potentially spoiler content should be posted in the official highlighted community discussion thread pinned to the top of the sub.
